Get ready for the weekend update in 5...4...3...2...1...
Lobby banquet: Our little lobby group met out in...where else...the lobby at seven. All the girls were ready and out there waiting for the boys, so we took some pictures of our hotness.

As you can see, Kelly, Gabbie, and Gretchen all wore strapless. I did not. They all complained about their dresses falling down/being self-conscious. I did not. Steve remarked, "MY date is clever." The boys arrived and we took pictures with our dates. Nate ended up not having a date (Libby couldn't come :-( ) so we decided that we were ALL his date. The pics of all of us with him are on someone else's camera though. Here's Steve and I:

There were transportation issues (no second car could be found) so Skizz took off with Gabbie, Patrick, Kelly, and Nate and then took a second trip to get Gretchen, Scott, Steve, and I. He took us to John's Christian Stores, dropped us off, we were paraded through and asked, "Is this a wedding? No? Prom then?", then we were marched cross-country to finally arrive at Nick's Charhouse.

Dinner was such good times. I had a cheeseburger and it was yummy. Nate spent more on himself than Steve and I combined. Steve again congratulated himself on his choice of date. :-) The girls all escaped to the bathroom to, giggle, fix our dresses, and speculate about what was in store for the rest of the evening. When we returned to the table the boys all had sunglasses (and some for us) and told us stage two was about to begin.
I wear my sunglasses at night!

Stage two was...cosmic bowling! You have no idea how much fun it is to bowl in a dress and borrowed socks until you've tried it.

Kelly made it for this pic, but just barely...notice the one bare foot. :-P

My mad skills at bowling cause Steve to ask, "Who are you?" incredulously. Too bad I really didn't do all that well. But I still kicked butt!

My final score was 98. Gabbie won on the other lane with 114. Both of us could do much better. Gretchen got straight gutterballs for the first six frames, then stood up for the seventh frame and got a strike. Her comeback was so amazing that she was only ten points behind Nate at the end.
After bowling we came back to our dear old friend the lobby and had ice cream and watched Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. San Dimas High School Football rules!!!
Then yesterday, Gabbie, Gretchen, her friend Brooke, and I all headed downtown to see....
WICKED!

I can't even tell you how amazing it was. The set was awesome, the actors' physicality was stunning, and the singing...the woman playing Elphaba had the most fantastically perfectly beautifully sweet voice...it was amazing. The first time Elphaba ran out onto the stage...my eyes teared up. Also, CAROL KANE was Madame Morrible. As in the Carol Kane from Taxi. Yup, that's right. If it ever comes to Seattle, I'm going again.
Elphaba: Alright, let's go ahead and get this out of the way. No, I'm not seasick, yes, I've always been green.
Galinda ("That's GUHlinda! With a 'guh'!"): I...I didn't get my way...I think I need to go lie down.
Galinda: Just because that's your secret, doesn't make it true.
Galinda ("It's Glinda. The 'guh' is silent."): *referring to Elphie's broom* Ugh, you're still riding around on that nasty dirty thing?
Elphaba: Well we can't ALL travel by BUBBLE. Was that the Wizard's idea?
Fun times. Fun, fun times.
