Christos voskress...

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter, I had fun despite missing the traditional candy hunt in the Bayles living room. :-/
I went to Church of the Great Shepherd with my friends Gabbie and Sarah and Gabbie's parents. It's an Anglican church, which is quite different from what I'm used to with Sunrise obviously, but I really enjoyed it. I went there for the Maundy Thursday service too. It is especially fun watching Father Lyle Dorsett, who gets very into the worship and will be up on stage, hands raised, bouncing and shouting out the songs. His joy is contagious. Sometimes he stretches out a hand with three fingers up (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost :) ) and it becomes almost a 'rock on' kind of gesture...except it's like "Woohoo! Yeah! The Trinity!" Really cute actually. I think I may try to go with Gabbie more often.
After church we met up with Gretchen and Gabbie's parents took us all out to Egglectic, an awesome cafe in downtown Wheaton. Gabbie's Mom even made us all little Easter baskets with candy and ramen. :)
Later we dyed eggs with the kit my Mom sent me:

Oh, one last fun thing. This is what it looks like when you take ten people, cram them into a Jeep Cherokee, and drive to Denny's at 4am on Good Friday. There are only six of us actually in the picture, but rest assured, there are really ten people in the car:
